In today's interconnected digital world, where information flows freely, ensuring user safety and creating a healthy online environment is a top priority for us. Luupli is committed to building a safer and more user-centred online community, and our Policies reflect this dedication. That is why by using Luppli, you commit to abide by these Community Guidelines as well as our Policies and Terms of Use.

Our Principles​

At Luupli we want to do things differently. Better. That is why we focus on four key principles:

1. Stronger Safety Governance:​

Safety is a fundamental part of our culture. This means that safety is prioritised throughout, from the Board of Directors to our product and engineering teams. We've established robust safety governance structures and processes to ensure that safety is at the forefront of our decision-making.

2. Safety by Design:​

We don't consider safety as an afterthought but as a core element in how we design and operate our services. Our policies ensure that safety is integrated into the very foundation of our products and services, from their development to their use. This approach helps prevent harm and reduce risks in online interactions, thereby protecting users.

3. User Choice and Control:​

We understand that our users have diverse needs and preferences. That's why we provide features and tools that allow users to customise their online experiences, control the content they see, and set their digital boundaries. This empowers users to have more control over their online interactions and fosters a sense of ownership in the digital world.

4. Transparency and Trust:​

Trust is vital in any online community. Luupli is committed to being transparent about our safety measures and decision-making processes. We believe in open and honest communication about our policies and practices to keep users well-informed and maintain their trust.

Guidelines​

These guidelines are here to help create a safe, friendly, and inclusive space for everyone. By following these simple rules, you'll be helping us foster a positive and enriching experience for all our users.

Bear in mind that these guidelines are a friendly and succinct version of Luupli’s approach to fostering a healthy online ecosystem. We strongly encourage you to read the specific Policies for a detailed understanding of what content is allowed, not allowed and the rationale for such limitations.

1. Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse Material:​

Luupli maintains a strict, zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). It is strictly prohibited to create, share, distribute, or promote any content involving CSAM, including but not limited to images, videos, or any explicit material featuring minors. Luupli cooperates with relevant international law enforcement authorities to report such material, ensuring compliance with global legal standards.

2. Prohibition of Terrorist Content:​

Luupli unequivocally prohibits any content that promotes or glorifies terrorism, violence, or any form of extremist ideologies. Users are strictly prohibited from sharing materials that support terrorist individuals, organisations or acts, engage in discussions that incite violence, or plan any illegal activities, in accordance with international laws and agreements.

3. Prevention of Fraud:​

Luupli is committed to preventing fraud and scams on its platform. Users are strictly prohibited from sharing deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent content, including but not limited to phishing schemes, pyramid schemes, identity theft, advance-fee fraud, and any fraudulent financial or investment schemes. In addition to Luupli’s enforcement actions, any user found engaging in fraudulent activities will be duly reported to the applicable authority.

4. Prohibition of Pornography:​

As a general rule, nudity is not allowed. Essentially: Explicit adult content showing sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks is not allowed. Some content, depending on the context, will be restricted to users who have confirmed they are of legal age. Child pornography and non-consensual pornography are strictly prohibited, aligning with international laws and agreements.

When assessing nudity, Luupli will always evaluate the context in which the content lies. For example, Educational, Artistic or Medical content is a basis of exemption to our nudity policy.

5. Combating Misinformation and Disinformation:​

Luupli is committed to ensuring the spread of accurate and reliable information in accordance with international norms. Users are strongly encouraged to share content that is factual and well-sourced. Deliberate disinformation, especially if it poses a significant risk to public safety, is strictly prohibited. Luupli employs mechanisms to address fake news, deep fakes, and manipulated media in compliance with global standards.

6. Prevention of Bullying:​

Luupli is dedicated to creating a platform that promotes respect, kindness, and a safe environment for users, adhering to international human rights principles. Bullying, harassment, or any form of abusive behaviour directed towards other users, including personal attacks, threats, or malicious intent, will not be tolerated. Luupli provides robust reporting systems and support for users facing harassment in alignment with international norms.

7. Protection against Abuse of Other Users:​

Luupli expects all users to treat one another with respect and consideration, respecting diversity and adhering to international human rights standards. Luupli prohibits any content which Promotes hatred and/or discrimination against people by sexual orientation, social views and beliefs, age, property status, national or social origin, gender reassignment, being married or in a civil partnership, being pregnant or on maternity leave, disability ,race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, or sex.

8. Content Likely to Cause Harm:​

Luupli acknowledges that not all harmful content is illegal and evaluates content in accordance with the laws of the applicable country international norms. Content that, while legal, may still be likely to cause harm to users or the community is monitored and assessed on a case-by-case basis by our Trust and Safety team (e.g. violent and graphic content).

Luupli is also not the place to promote and/or coordinate harm or crime. Things like buying or selling firearms or non-medical drugs, showcasing eating disorders or any other type of self-harm is not allowed.

Luupli will remove or restrict this content to protect the well-being of our global user community.

9. Respect for Privacy and Data Security:​

Luupli respects the privacy and data security of its users in compliance with international data protection regulations. Sharing any personally identifiable information of others without their consent is strictly prohibited. Users must adhere to Luupli's data usage and privacy policies to ensure compliance with international data protection standards.

10. Protection of Intellectual Property:​

Luupli respects intellectual property rights and complies with international copyright and trademark laws. Users must not infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights when sharing content on the platform. Repeated copyright violations may result in the removal of infringing content, in accordance with global copyright standards.

11. Hate Speech and Incitement to Violence:​

Luupli strictly adheres to international norms and human rights principles by not tolerating hate speech, incitement to violence, or any content that promotes discrimination, bigotry, or harm to individuals or groups based on their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other personal characteristics.

We truly believe in the potential of our product and the features within it. That is why you will find product related policies too. Simply put, the aim of such policies is to ensure that the purpose of a feature is not distorted and ensure that the content of our platform remains engaging.

Periodic Review​

Luupli conducts regular reviews of this Community Guidelines to ensure its effectiveness and relevance in an evolving online landscape and to align with international legal and ethical standards.

Adjustments will be made as necessary to address emerging issues or user concerns. We therefore encourage you to send us feedback of any kind as your experience with us is what we value the most!

Enforcement Actions​

We take violations of these Community Guidelines seriously. Depending on the severity of the offence, we may impose enforcement actions which include:

  • Removing your content

  • Suspending your account

  • Banning you from Luupli.
