Integrity and Aunthenticity
Account Authenticity and Integrity
Purpose
Authenticity is in our DNA. At Luupli we want everyone to feel safe being authentic and showing the world his or her true colours. We in fact believe that authenticity is the fundamental element of creativity and inspiration. This Policy aims to clearly define what is allowed and not allowed in terms of account integrity and authenticity with the sole purpose of maintaining a healthy ecosystem and empowering every user to be their best version. By adhering to these rules, we aim to create a positive and authentic experience for all users on Luupli. Together, we can uphold the values of honesty, transparency, and integrity in our online interactions.
The following practices are not allowed:
- Fake accounts are strictly prohibited. Users must provide accurate information when creating their profiles, including their name, date of birth, and other relevant details.
- This limitation applies only to personal user accounts.
- Any other account such as enterprises or businesses will be classified as such and not subject to the limitations in this section.
- Fan pages are also exempted from this limitation, as long as they are identified as such by the User.
- Users must not impersonate others or create accounts with the intent to deceive, mislead, or confuse other users, including but not limited to:
- Using another individual’s photo or unique characteristics to deceive other users.
- Using accounts intended to speak for another person. Impersonation undermines trust within our community and is a violation of this Policy.
- Any user implementing schemes, regardless of the form and nature, to artificially increase engagement or deceive luupli’s recommendation system is strictly prohibited.
- Any user implementing schemes, regardless of the form and nature, to artificially increase the number of followers. Commercialising followers or accounts.
- Users must not establish or utilise an account with the deliberate intention of distorting your identity to mislead or deceive others, or to circumvent enforcement measures, such as recreating an account to circumvent a previous enforcement action (e.g. removal).
- Using Luupli’s reporting procedures to harass other users.
- Plagiarism, copyright infringement, or the dissemination of false information is not tolerated. Users should give proper credit when sharing content created by others.
- Encourage, promote, facilitate or solicit any of the above.
All of the above give us the right to impose any enforcement action, including but not limited to disabling or suspending someone’s account. The criticality of the measure imposed will be at Luupli’s sole discretion and will depend on several factors such as the amount of information that we have, the context and the criticality of the risk.
Public Figures
Luupli may offer a verification process for prominent public figures, brands, and organisations to confirm their authenticity. Verified accounts are distinguished by a badge, indicating that the account has been confirmed to belong to the claimed individual or entity.
News Agencies
Assuming the importance of news agencies and our intent to combat misinformation and disinformation, Luupli may also offer a verification process for prominent news agencies to confirm their authenticity. We aim to provide our community with clarity on those accounts dedicated to professionally inform the audience. This will apply to all kinds of news agencies or outlets, regardless of their form, including but not limited to:
- TV Stations
- Radio Stations
- newspapers,
- magazines,
- streaming channels,
- forums, etc. Verified accounts will also be distinguished by a unique badge, indicating that the account has been confirmed to belong to an entity or individual whose main purpose is to professionally spread news and inform the community.
Civic Integrity
Although we firmly believe in elections as the main political expression channel for society, Luupli is proud to be an apolitical business. We are therefore committed to treat every idea, initiative or political party the same and with the utmost respect.
We understand the value of engaging in political discussion, that is why we want to provide a neutral field for every user to express his or her ideas freely. Therefore, any paid political promotion is strictly prohibited when conducted by official Politicians or Political Parties accounts.
We define “Politicians and Political Parties” accounts as any national, federal, state or Provincial government entity, office or party, as well as candidates and elected officials at any levels. Such accounts will be verified and distinguished by a badge, for the sole purpose of raising awareness across our community.
Artificial Intelligence
We are absolute fans of artificial intelligence or any technology that enhances creativity and innovation. However, we are also aware of the risks that this entails, for example, making it difficult to differentiate between real life and fiction.
Consequently, any content blending or putting together real world content (e.g. individuals, locations, businesses, etc) with content created by artificial intelligence must be clearly disclosed before being uploaded. Such content will then include a tag or banner to make the rest of the community aware that artificial intelligence is involved.
